May 5, 2012 Congrats to All Our Winners and Especially Everett Wicklund who will be playing the WSOP Main Event!

Well it took me a long time to get this up, but I am finally doing it. The Final was fun for most of us but especially for our 10 winners. A little frustrating for our bubble boy Ed Sue who struggled hard to stay alive time and again before finally succumbing, and frustrating for myself, Darren Kennedy, who went out one off the bubble with KK < TT all in pre flop. But the winners were all deserving as I saw some great play by a lot of players. From my vantage point I’d like to call out the final four of Kal Kooner, Ken Douglas, Mike Menkes, Mario Baptista and Everett Wicklund who all played some pretty superior poker.

Ken was lucky at the beginning of the tourney, quickly amassing a large stack, but got absolutely cold-decked at the final table when he ran AKss into Mike Menkes AA.

The full list of winners and their placement at the finals is:

1.     Everett Wicklund ($10,000 WSOP ME Seat + $800 cash)

2.     Mario Baptista ($3,000 WSOP + $500 cash)

3.     Mike Menkes ($1,500 WSOP + $500 cash)

4.     Kal Kooner ($1,500 WSOP + $500 cash)

5.     Andrew Krywaniuk ($1,000 WSOP + $500 cash)

6.     Ken Douglas ($1,000 WSOP + $500 cash)

7.     Mike Schubert ($1,000 WSOP + $500 cash)

8.     Chris Fraser ($1,000 WSOP + $500 cash)

9.     Kent Senko ($1,000 WSOP + $500 cash)

24.  Ray Rohrback ($1,000 WSOP + $500 cash)

I will post some more details later, but some interesting info about our winners. Everett started with only 4,000 chips and won the whole thing. Mike Schubert also started with 4,000 chips and won a prize. Only one other person, Ken (8,500) won a prize that started with less than 10,000 chips. The winners starting positions in the 60 man field were: 1 (only becase it was guaranteed), 3, 6, 10, 12, 15, 16, 20, 42, 44. What that means is that 7 of the top 10 stacks beginning the night fell out of that top 10 finish.

The final 3 of Mario, Everett and Mike Menkes were pretty evenly chipstacked early before Everett slipped to become the shortsstack. But two straight hand made him the dominant force and led to the demise of the other two. First Mario and Everett saw a flop of 742 rainbow and got all the chips in the middle with Mario’s set of 4’s crushed by Everett’s set of 7’s. No miracle on the turn and river left Mario crippled to about 5 BB’s. Mike still had Everett covered though and the next hand Mike and Everettt got it all in preflop with Mike holding 55 and devastated to see Everett show up with pocket kings. A board of 9A24 did give Mike life on the river, but it was not to be. At this point Everett had both his opponents almost felted. They would survive a bit before Mike would go out in third place and the final hand occurred with Everett holding KJ to the K7 of Mario. The hand would hold up and Everett Wicklund is the 2012 Die Hard Poker League Champion and will represent us in the Main Event of the 2012 World Series of Poker. I wish him the best of luck and hope I will be joining him in the tourney.

In the event that any of our winners can not make it down to play in the World Series, our bubble boy Ed Sue will take their place. Another great season comes to a close, looking forward to seeing some positive results from the 10 representatives we are sending down. Bring home the money boys! I will try and update on the website and via email as soon as I get any results good or bad from those participating. As always, while I am down there I will be updating via twitter. March 25, 2012 – Ray Rohrback hangs on for overall points lead and Norm Dergousoff wins Event #10 after 3 way chop between Paul Deol, Greg Getty and himself.

This tourney was supposed to be all about getting points for the final and winning the guaranteed seat at the WSOP, but don’t tell that to the non-leaguers who were here to win the cash. Non-leaguers won $2260 of the $3450 in prize money on the night. It was also a night for spares to pick up points for non-leaguers as Norm was playing for Denise Henderson (10,000), Javid Patel  for Harry Aujla (6,500), Bob Lisle for Mike Henderson (4,000), Bobby Gagnon for Elton Ngan (1,500).

The final 3 started with Paul having a monster chip lead over Norm and Greg sitting with just 3 BBs. Greg would fall down to one BB before battling back so that it was fairly even 3 ways. At that point a deal was made for $760 each and Greg retired his chips. Paul and Norm went heads up with Norm falling to as little as two chips before ctaching a huge run of cards and ultimately battling back from a chip and a chair to take the title.

A huge congrats to both Paul Deol (8,000 points) and Marie Hilts (2,500 points) who came in to the night with no points and walked away with a seat at the final and a legitimate shot at winning a WSOP seat.

As for the overall points race, it almost became a non-event early as among the top 10 none of Darren Kennedy, Ray Rohrback, Mike Menkes, Brent Senko, Chris Fraser, Ed Sue, Kent Senko or Rob Sims cracked the top 25 leaving only Mike Bigelow, who needed a 1st place finish and Cory Breland who would need a top 4 to pass Ray. Cory would go out in 13th and Bigelow would last just one spot more meaning Ray Rohrback would claim the guaranteed WSOP seat. Congrats Ray.

The in-the-point finishers included: Norm Dergousoff ($770, non-league playing for Denise Henderson), Paul Deol ($760), Greg Getty ($760, non-league), Javid Patel ($320, non-league playing for Harry Aujla), Andy Bhatti ($250), Mark Juvelin ($200), Bob Lisle ($160, non-league playing for Mike Henderson), Mike Mittermuller ($130), Marie Hilts ($100), Dave Sims, Bobby Gagnon (non-league playing for Elton Ngan), Mike Bigelow, Cory Breland, TJ Johnston, Rod Sims, Larry Williams, Dallas Bowden (non-league), Dylan Ruocco.

March 11, 2012 – Cory Breland defeats Ray Rohrback to win Event #9

Ray Rohrback did everything he can to go back-to-back but fell one spot short losing to Cory Breland who thought he was ousted earlier in the tourney when his opponent hit a nut flush with the Ace of clubs on the river. The same card however gave Cory the Queen high straight flush. Cory would later hold on to win the tourney. Ray’s second place finish was enough to give him the points lead over myself with just one event to go. Eric Ruttan finished 5th to get out of the zero points and lock up a seat in the final. There were some sick drawouts at the final table with Jordi Muckle likely suffering the worst one when all the chips got in on the flop and he got two-outed.

The in-the-point finishers included: Cory Breland ($1200), Ray Rohrback ($730), Rob Sims, ($560), Jordi Muckle ($380), Eric Ruttan ($300), Chris Fraser ($250), Mike Mittermuller ($200), Elton Ngan ($150), Dan Molatore ($100), Bruce Lawson, Darren Kennedy, Rich Wardroper, Bob Lisle (playing for Denise Henderson), Larry Williams, Mike Menkes.

February 18, 2012 – Ray Rohrback holds off the Senko Brothers For His 2nd DHPL Win in Event #8

Well this seems like a little deja-vu. Back in event #5 both Kent Senko and Brent Senko made it to the final 3 spots, with Brent winning and Kent taking 3rd. This time around Kent would once again take 3rd, but Ray Rohrback was not going to allow an exact repeat of the top 3 as he held on to win the event leaving Brent to finish 2nd. The event was held up around midnight with two tables remaining when the fire alarm went off. We all wandered out to the parking lot where we waited about 20 minutes before being able to return. Other than that the tourney went off without much of a hitch.

There was some drama with Mike Menkes making the points and needing 1500 points to pass Darren for the points lead. Mike would bust out at the 500 point level however leaving Darren remaining in first. There was movement among the leaders though as Brent Senko is now within 3000 points of the league lead, Ray Rohrback moved to within a 3rd place finish of first and Kent Senko and Chris Fraser are also now within striking distance.

Along with this tightening up amongst the leaders, we also had 5 players earning their first points of the season meaning we now have 57 players qualified for a seat at the League Final.

The only hand of note I can recall is with 9 players remaining and TJ on a puny stack, Jordi pushed all in on the button with KQ and a middling stack, Dylan reshoves from the SB with 66 and the second biggest stack and then chipleader Ray Rohrback snapping from the BB with Aces and KO’ing two players on the hand. This cemented Ray as the dominant chip leader and allowed TJ to get an extra 1000 points and $100.

The in-the-point finishers included: Ray Rohrback ($1220), Brent Senko ($810), Kent Senko ($560), Rob Sims ($410), Everett Wicklund ($310), Chris Fraser ($250), TJ Johnston ($200), Dylan Ruocco ($140), Jordi Muckle ($100), Guy Bottin ($100), Bobby Gagnon (non-league), Denise Henderson, Mike Henderson, Greg Herman, Mike Menkes, Brant Taylor.

February 5, 2012 – WSOP Schedule is Out and League Prizes are Set

WSOP Schedule has been released. Please check it out, especially if you plan on winning a prize.

The prizes distribution has been firmed up. I know now that we will likely have around $27,100 ($26,400 league fees + $715 from Dave's cash at WSOP last year) in prize money to distribute. In fact if no one else drops out we'll probably have about $27,500 total, but we can lock in $26,800 safely. We has said at the beginning of the season that we would be changing it slightly from last season to give a slightly larger 2nd or 2nd and 3rd prizes and then as many small prizes as possible.

Now that the schedules out, I can see the various event buyin numbers particularly that they have a $3000 buyin NLH on a Friday (WSOP 41) which would be a phenomenal runnerup prize. My criteria for the changes were that I wanted to make sure we still send at least 10 people, and I wanted to make the play 4-7 handed mean something rather than all the shortstacks trying to gamble it up and basically taking a TONNE of the EV away from the top 2 chip-leaders going into the Final table. That being said the prizes this year are as follows:

1st:                  $10,000 Main Event + $800 cash
2nd:                 $3,000 + $500 cash
3rd:                 $1,500 + $500 cash
4th-10th:         $1,000 + $500 cash
====================
TOTAL:          $26,800

If we end up with more cash we bump 4th to a $1,500 + $500 cash.

Also please note that any prize you win, you can use in multiple ways except the Main Event prize. For example if you win 2nd prize of $3,000 + $500 cash, you can use it as a single $3,000 buyin event, 2 $1,500 buyin events, 3 $1,000 buyins or $3,000 towards the Main Event and add another $7000 yourself leaving the league with action on just the 30% it contributed. Or if you win a $1,000 prize you can enter a $1,500 event and contribute $500 yourself leaving the league action on $1,000 of the entry. In short I just wanted to make sure everyone understands that we as a league are very flexible with the winners so long as we get action on WSOP events.

January 29, 2012 – Brant Taylor KO’s last 5 at Final Table in Event #7 to beat Jason Nadeau for the Win

Well there was definitely some controversy tonight but we’ll get to that in a minute. Early on in the tourney Harry Aujla dominated, accumulating lots of chips. One particular hand he got it all in with 22 vs AA and KK and spiked a deuce for a double knock-out. Four of the top 6 point getters in the league once again made it into the points. Mike Menkes, Ed Sue, Kal Kooner and Brent Senko were all in position to put some real pressure on point leader Darren Kennedy. Brent, Kal and Ed all went out with just 500 points however leaving Mike Menkes to keep the pressure on. Menkes finished 5th for 5,000 points leaving him just 1,000 points behind Kennedy for the points lead.

Now to the controversy. At the Final Table with 7 players remaining, Ryan McDonald was all in against Mike Menkes preflop and the board ran out badly for Ryan who was seemingly KO’d when Menkes hit his card on the river. Guy Bottin who was watching however noticed that there were TWO 3 of diamonds on board, one on the flop and another on the turn. The hand was subsequently declared void and a misdeal resulted. The deck was checked and it was found that were a couple of cards extra in the deck. Likely these cards were put in accidentally after the redraw to the final table and so the play from 10 to 7 was tainted. A new deck with the correct number of cards was put in play and Mike Mittermuller ended up going out next in 7th with Ryan McDonald going out in 6th. The misdeal resulted in an extra 1000 points and $50 for McDonald at the expense of Mittermuller.

The in-the-point finishers included: Brant Taylor ($1230), Jason Nadeau ($570 non-league), Howard Holt ($570), Cory Breland ($410), Mike Menkes ($320), Ryan McDonald ($250), Mike Mittermuller ($200), Lance Murdoch ($150, non-league), Derek Cole ($100, non-league), Lynn Leavens ($100), Harry Aujla, Kent Senko, Marvin Frank (non-league), Bruce Lawson, James Tichenor, TJ Johnston, Kal Kooner, Ed Sue, Greg Getty (non-league), Brent Senko.

January 8, 2012 – Kal Kooner wins Event #6, chops first place with Darren Kennedy

The start of the second half saw the tournament dominated early by former leaguers Lance Murdoch and Graham Spence who both built up sizeable stacks in the middle stages. Rob Holmberg also built up early courtesy of twice being on the right side of AA versus KK. However it was Kal Kooner who came all the way back after being down to just 1,500 chips during the 800-1600 blind level to win the tournament, outlasting Darren Kennedy HU. Darren takes over the point lead from Mike Menkes with the 8,000 points earned this event, giving him two seconds and a third this year.

The in-the-point finishers included: Kal Kooner ($935), Darren Kennedy ($935), Mike Felhauer ($460), Rob Holmberg ($340), Lynn Leavens ($280), Jamie Hucul ($230), Lance Murdoch ($180, non-league), Mike Schubert ($140), Mike Farnese ($100), Jon Pingol, Graham Spence (non-league, playing for Pat Woelk), Greg Herman, Cory Breland, Chris Fraser, Brant Taylor, Mike Bigelow.

January 7, 2012 – Brother Show as Brent Senko wins and his brother Kent comes 3rd

A typical slightly smaller turnout for our December tourney saw a Senko show. 67 runners came out looking to win, and Brent Senko ended up doing just that and taking home the belt after chopping the cash with Ken Douglas. No change at the top as Mike Menkes holds onto the overall points lead for now.

The in-the-point finishers included: Brent Senko ($900), Ken Douglas ($900), Kent senko ($450), Steve Sam ($350, non-league), Gerald Halfner ($250, non-league), James Tichenor, Mike Bigelow, Dave Sims, Darcy Penner, Mark Mitchell, Andrew Krywaniuk, Ed Sue, Kyle Pendree, Mike Schubert, Chris Herbert, Kai Picard, Greg Herman, Rob Holmberg.

November 22, 2011 – Chris Fraser Sucks Out to win Event #4, chops first place with Mike Bigelow and Bryan Wiebe

The stacks were very close to even 3 handed when Chris Fraser, Mike Bigelow and Bryan Wiebe made a deal to chop the remaining $2500 in the prize pool 3 ways taking $830 each and playing for the remaining $10. Ryan would go out on the next hand and Mike and Chris would battle for awhile before Mike had Chris dead to rights all in on the flop only to watch Chris go runner-runner for the win and the chiplead. Chris proceeded to follow that up with another runner-runner goodness to finish Mike off and capture the belt and 10,000 points proving that in poker getting it in good is not always enough. We had 81 players show for this event and once again my apologies for the late start. I didn’t fully anticipate the Vancouver traffic having to go Seattle to Port Moody and back to Surrey. We’ll make sure we start on time next event.

We had two instances of ties in the points resulting in Lynn Leavinns and Ryan Watkins getting 800 points ((1000+500)/2) and Rob Sims and Cory Breland getting 1300 points ((1000+1500)/2). No change on the Standings leaderboard as Mike Menkes remains in first followed by myself. Mike Bigelows 2nd place did vault him into 4th spot though. 8 of the 15 players pointing in this event did not yet have points bringing the total to 47 of 70 league players with points.

The in-the-point finishers included: Chris Fraser ($840), Mike Bigelow ($830), Bryan Wiebe ($830, non-league), Ray Rohrback ($400), Dean Hilts ($300), Kai Picard ($250), Jon Pingol ($200), Rick Rohrback ($150), Corey Grant ($100, non-league), Jamie Hucul, Rob Sims, Cory Breland, TJ Johnston, Lynn Leavinns, Ryan Watkins, Jeff Scott, Ryan McDonald.

October 23, 2011 – Mike Menkes outlasts Darren Kennedy to win Event #3

This was my chance. After playing 60 of our 62 Events, Event #63 was the first time I made it to Heads-up play in one of my own Events. But more than that I actually had Mike Menkes allin and covered preflop with A5o vs QJdd. The board came out KT62. With just a river to go I needed to avoid 13 outs to win it. Unfortunately for me it came Jack and Mike would double through. We battled for another 30 minutes, I did regain the chip lead twice but would eventually fall when I pushed with Q5 and ran into A9. Congrats on the win Mike. Doug Crone finished 3rd making it back-to-back Final Tables for Doug and he pointed once again for a league player. In Event #2 he got 3000 points playing for Ryan Watkins and this time around he scored 6500 points for Mike Mittermuller. Doug’s going to have to start charging for his services. A new player joined the league starting this Event and Bruce Lawson made sure to get right on the board with a 6th place finish and 3000 points.

With the win, Mike Menkes passed Ed Sue into the points lead. I also passed Ed and now sit in 2nd spot.

The in-the-point finishers included: Mike Menkes ($930), Darren Kennedy ($930), Doug Crone ($460, non-league playing for Mike Mittermuller), Elton Ngan ($320), Dave Sims ($270), Bruce Lawson ($220), Rob Holmberg ($180), Nathan Haug ($140, non-league playing for Rod Smith), Jon Pingol ($100), Dan Molatore, Mark Juvelin, Mo Pannun, Jordi Muckle, Ryan McDonald, Jerry Langdow (non-league playing for Lynn Leavens).

October 6, 2011 – Mario Baptista Wins Event #2

Event #2 beat our record turnout by 1 with 83 players participating and resulted in the first time we paid out the entire 10-handed final table. We also once again got PLO going in the cash game. Mario Baptista won the event outlasting Mo Pannun heads-up and the other storyline was Ed Sue who was among the chip leaders 5 handed with a shot at going back-to-back. He didn’t though, but another top 5 finish along with 4,000 points has him securely atop the leaderboard in the early going. Mike Menkes was down to ¾ of a blind with about 10 remaining and proceeded to nearly quadruple up on the next hand and then parlay it into a top 4.

The standings page has been updated.

The in-the-point finishers included: Mario Baptista ($1200), Mo Pannun ($800), Mike Menkes ($560), Roland Calapiz ($400), Ed Sue ($310), Doug Crone ($250 non-league playing for Ryan Watkins), Darcy Penner ($190), Chris Herbert ($140), Kal Kooner ($100), Richard Wardroper ($100), Brent Senko, Ashley Samborski, Mike Schubert, Dean Hilts, Mike Roselli (non-league), Scott Brynen, Mike Farnese.

October 6, 2011 – Exposed Card Rule Change

I have tried hard to follow TDA rules as much as possible in our tournaments. One rule that has bothered me that we have not been following is the exposure of cards. Exposing your hand in a tournament never ever results in a dead hand but it does result in a penalty AFTER THAT HAND IS COMPLETED.

As such I am going to change the rule that we have been using to be if a player exposes his hand to any person (including players at the table and spectators) the hand will be allowed to be played out and then a penalty will be incurred. The standard penalty for TDA is to penalize the offending player one full lap of the table. This is what I intend to do.

Please note that I am reviewing other TDA rules regularly and if anything else comes up I will inform the league.

I will also reiterate this rule change tomorrow before we start the tournament. See you all tomorrow night.

September 24, 2011 – Great Start to Season 7. Ed Sue wins and we have 65 League Member so far

So good to be back and personally so nice to put some points on the board as I myself took down a 3rd place after getting shutout all of last year. It was a good night of poker with a lot of battles and a few less suckouts than usual. Cory Breland managed to hit a Royal Flush early on in the night. Mike Schubert was knocked out on the points bubble when his Aces were cracked and Ron Burns got cold-decked on the money bubble when his pocket Kings ran into Aces.

The Final table battle was fun and full of a lot of familiar faces with only one new-comer to the league cracking the top 9, that being Padraic Garrety. The final 3 of Andrew, Ed and Darren have all played in the league for 7 years. And Darren, Mike Felhauer and Mike Farnese were all shut-out from points the entire year last year so it was nice to start off on a good note. One player, Andrew Krywaniuk played well and carried a big stack throughout the entire tournament. But 3-handed he got very lucky when he took his KQ all-in against AT of Ed Sue. Flop came TTx but the turn and river were 9 and J to give him a straight. He then won A2 vs A4 to double up through Ed before KO-ing Darren the next hand with A4 > A9 when a 4 spiked the river.

The in the point finishers (1-15) were: Ed Sue ($1000), Andrew Krywaniuk ($1000), Darren Kennedy ($550), Mike Farnese ($420), Roger Grosset ($320), Mike Bigelow ($260), Larry Williams ($200), Padraic Garrety ($150), Mike Felhauer ($100), Ron Barnes (non-league), James Tichenor, Cory Breland, Harry Aujla, Ken Douglas, Zach Samborski (non-league for Ashley Samborski), Scott Rickards(non-league), Louie Jurinak(non-league), Jon Pingol.

I will update the standings page tomorrow.

September 15, 2011 – Change to Points for this Year

One last change before the season gets under way tomorrow. When we created the league we gave points for the top 10 players when tourneys were 20-25 players deep. Now we are 60-80 player tourneys and finishing in the top 10 is way harder. As such a lot of people have requested giving points to the top 20. I have resisted a bit mainly due to the difficulty of managing bustouts. However I think it’s time we considered changing the point allocation. What we are doing for this season is giving points to the top 15 as that will usually be in the top 2 tables only and not be that much more difficult to administer than the top 10.

The new point distributions are below:

1st:       10,000

2nd:      8,000

3rd:       6,500

4th:       5,000

5th:       4,000

6th:       3,000

7th:       2,500

8th:       2,000

9th:       1,500

10th:     1,000

11th:     1,000

12th:     1,000

13th      500

14th:     500

15th:     500

August 6, 2011 – Season 7 Coming Soon and Schedule Released.

Its nearing that time of year again and it’s time to start thinking about the new poker season. I dont anticipate any changes in format, chipstacks, prize distribution or rules at this point. That being said I am definately asking for any and all comments and suggestions that would help improve our league. So let them fly.

One minor issue which has come up time and again is the cutting of cards. As of this year the cards must be cut before being dealt. There is no longer an option to knock on the cards. Minor but important as it is too easy to see the bottom card on the deck if no cut is made.

Now the important part. The dates are below. These are not yet confirmed by the golf club yet but I expect they will be within the week and don’t anticipate having to make any changes.

Event # - Date

1 - Sep 16

2 - Oct 7

3 - Oct 21

4 - Nov 18

5 - Dec 9

6 - Jan 6

7 - Jan 27

8 - Feb 17

9 - Mar 9

10 - Mar 23

FINAL - Apr 13

I have avoided most holidays and the Vancouver poker tourney series, but I did put one event on Thanksgiving weekend figuring that its unlikely most people will have a turkey dinner on friday.

Please be advised that there are no substitutes for the league Final, so please look at that date VERY CAREFULLY. Also at this point I would like anyone that knows they are joining the league to please let me know so I can start getting a head count. so whos in?????

Same as last year you will need $170 for Event #1 and then $90 per event going forward, until events #9 and 10 which will be just $50 each.

And I'd be remiss if I didn't congratulate Dave Sims on cashing at the World Series of Poker. Well done Dave!

Thanks,

And really looking forward to another great year. Maybe this year I will actually final table one of my own tourneys ;-)

June 28, 2011 – Harry Aujla Cashes in Event 32, Brant Taylor chops a Rio Deepstack for ~$12,000.

Harry was not playing for the league but just the same a huge congrats on another DHPLers deep run. Harry busted out to 72o with AQ on an AK2x2 board to finish 237th of 2828 players for $3054. Poker is rough at times. With the amount of deep runs we are having someone is bound to break through to a Final Table soon.

Brant also had a good run in 6pm deepstack tourney at the Rio. $185 buyin, 520 runners. He got down to 20k from 40k blinding out with BB at 4000. Then he found AA and held! At 6am there were 3 left and Brant had just doubled to 1.3m. Another guy had 1.8M after doubling Brant and young guy 2.3m. The young guy said give him $500 each and we chop. So Brant got just under $12k from $185 buyin. Well done!.

June 27, 2011 – Roger Fails to Cash after deep run

Roger played the $1k NLH event today and was able to run it up from 3000 starting stack to 16k at level 8. That’s when he ran AK into AA for a very painful cooler that knocked him out of the tournament. It was a good run nonetheless, finishing in the top 20% ~580th of 2900 players.

June 23, 2011 – Dave Sims Cashes for $2143 in Event 8, 5 others fall short in their attempts.

Well a big congratulations to Dave Sims who took a very short stack into Day 2 of Event #8 $1000 NLH and proceeded to cash. He finished 328th of 4178 players to take home $2,143 and become the 3rd ever cash by players playing for the DHPL. Five other players have tried and failed to cash so far with Lance Murdoch coming closest making it well past dinner break before ultimately falling short. Steve McLarty, Brant Taylor, Jay Petersson and Mike Henderson were the other unfortunates. I haven’t heard from Mike H how his tourney went yet.

Still to play are Roger on June 26th, Mike Menkes on Tuesday, June 28, Rod Smith on Sunday, July 3rd and of course Magus who is playing the Main Event on July 9th.

I myself managed to cash 1 of 6 events I’ve played so far this year coming 149th of 3157 players in a $1500 NLH event for $3920. I’ve had a few other deep runs including busting 74th where 72 got the money in a PLH tourney. Other DHPLers who played WSOP events this year included Harry Aujla, Andrew Krywaniuk, Larry Williams, Scott Brynen, Pat Woelk and Graham Spence. None of them cashed in the WSOP yet that I know of yet. Good luck to everyone still to play.
